Today was the first day of the Python conference, but I skipped it; the conference hotel is apparently far from public transport and I was doubtful of being able to get back in time for my lesson (especially since Jeff moved it up to 7PM). And it turned out to be a really good lesson. A major is done, replaced by C minor; the Irish melody is done, replaced by an etude and a duet (both parts of which I have to play -- Jeff and I will play it both ways at the next lesson); and instead of playing just the first half of Minuet No. 3, I now have to play the second half as well, which features a number of runs in second position.

My two major issues right now are, first, my first finger slowly drifting out of position and hence out of tune, and second, I still play with noticeable pauses between notes (staccato), when they should flow together more (legato). The first problem is mostly because my left elbow isn't up high enough, which is simple enough. The second problem is trickier, because that's just how I've been playing. If I concentrate on never letting my bow stop, I can play more legato, but it's a strain and I suspect the faster pace will cause me to make more mistakes; playing too hurriedly is a problem I already know about.
