A so-so lesson this evening. I was reasonably well-focused, just not especially good.
New etude, #58: very straightforward: almost all first position except for a few little shifts, the easy key of C major, and an unvarying rhythm.
Neither piece was in great shape; I kept getting out of tune in the lullaby, and very consistently misread certain notes in "Nina" (it's supposed to be E, but I kept playing G).
