Lesson: 11/10

Not a good practicing week, but the lesson wasn't as disastrous as it could have been. The etude wasn't in great shape due to my constantly drifting out of tune, but the "Cinquantaine" was a bit better. We played the second half as a duet, which was really helpful and a lot of fun for me.

We also very briefly went over two lines of a new piece, and this piece is a milestone for me. It's the Bourée I from Bach's Cello Suite #3, and this is my first contact with the Bach suites. (A few years back we played some pieces from a book of Bach arrangements for first position, but I don't think any of them were from the suites.)
